People going to Spain:
Those not driving to the airport, we'll meet at the Glengall St bus stop outside the Europ on Sunday 19 Feb in time for the 5am bus to the International Airport. (Flight is at 7.10am)
The flight gets us into Malaga at 1110. We'll get a train to the Maria Zambrano train station (probably the 1154 train but they go every 20 minutes)
From there we'll do the week's shopping in the local supermarket. Then we'll get the train to Alora (http://www.fuegoblanco.com/train_times.htm) depart 1443 arr 1522
We'll be picked up at Alora train station by taxis and left to the hostel in El Chorro. Bring money for this - 10 euros should cover it both ways.
On Sunday 26 we'll be left back to Alora train station in time for the 7.55 train. This will leave us into Malaga for 8.33 from where we'll get another train to the airport. The flight leaves at 11.50 and arrives in Belfast at 1415.
There is only a small shop in El Chorro so all food should be bought beforehand in Malaga. Also there is no cash machine in El Chorro. There is however a pub.
You won't need bedding, it's provided by the hostel.
If you can get a guidebook, do!
Also, bring any/all quickdraws you can get your hands on, and a helmet (can be borrowed from club). You will need a belay plate and karabiner, and also a spare karabiner and 60cm sling. A 120cm sling is also a good idea if you can get hold of one.

Do we need to bring ropes? Also how much cash (Euros) are we likely to need for the week?

Ropes! Yes, good point. One rope between two (60m) If you don't have one you can sign out a club one. Good question, depends how much the food costs. once in El Chorro only costs will be pub/anything you pick up in the little shop, and the taxi fare. €60 could be enough, maybe?
