Any word on how the club is planning on getting to courmayeur? It looks like a tossup between Milano (my favourite Italian city) and Geneva, tolls on one side and a tunnel on the other. There's a BMI and Ryanair combo to Milan or easyjet to Geneva. Both require stopoffs in mainland UK (easyjet stop their direct Geneva flights in April). A bigger question is what people are planning to do once they get there? If you like maps and zooming in on mountains then check out loisirs.ign.fr/visuRechCarto.doAnd if people were feeling adventurous there's the possibility of danielarndt.com/trips/102/mont-blancAlso, there was a blue club rope in my car from the last Fairhead adventure. I left it behind reception at the PEC.

Niall is unofficialy incharge of this club trip. I'd say most people are waiting for him to tell them what flights to book Great trip report on the Normal Italian route! I've been eyeing up the Trois Monts Route. Its not quite as adventurous as the Italian route but also not as packed as the Normal French route. Anybody else on the trip hoping for Mont Blanc?

Do the Kuffner on Mt Maudit. Classic, easy but not escapable.

Yeah, I'll get an email out in the next day or so about finer details. Multitude of shit going on with regards to Queens and money alongside taking 31 scouts away on camp at Easter.
I'm intending on flying through Geneva and getting connections to Courmayeur that way. To be honest, if you find easier/cheaper alternatives let us know - but this seems easy enough.
And yes Ronan, I hope to go out again next year - but those routes are mental! Rebuffet and Walker (Mayber - BIG MAYBE!) - but those others are insane routes! And several are winter routes now mainly!
